Position Title : Trade Compliance / Permit Declaration Team Lead
Working Location : East – Changi Airfreight Centre
Working Hours : 5.5 days / 830am-530pm or 11am-8pm (rotating shift)
Salary Package : Up to SGD 3800 + AWS + Variable bonus
Duration : Permanent

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily TradeNet permit declarations, ACES submissions, report preparation, and customer payment collections

Coach and train declaration staff to maintain accuracy and efficiency

Liaise with Customs, government agencies, and clients on permit issues, exceptions, and rejections

Track declaration turnaround to meet service level commitments

Maintain complete records and ensure audit compliance

Monitor regulatory changes and implement process updates

Support internal and external audits for permits and compliance

Min. Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Trade, or related fields

Min.3 years of working experience in permit declaration or trade compliance

Customs Competency Test for Declarants certification is mandatory.

Strong understanding of Singapore TradeNet, the Customs Act, and FTA documentation processes

Proficient with TradeNet front-end declaration software and MS Office

Familiar with customs documents : COO, invoices, AWB, HS codes

Knowledge of Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) and GST exemption rules

Experience handling permits for restricted / controlled goods

Exposure to air cargo or sea freight operations is an advantage
