Roles & Responsibilities
Dr Jay Shin's lab (https : / / regulatory-genomics.com) at Genome Institute of Singapore (GIS) is a cutting-edge research group specializing in single-cell genomics, transcriptional regulation and drug discovery. The lab is spearheading the ATOMIC project, which aims to build an autonomous omics platform that aims to discover novel drugs by leveraging high throughput single cell sequencing techniques and generative AI models.
The lab is seeking a skilled and dedicated Research Officer with expertise in cancer and molecular biology, single cell RNA-seq and cell culture techniques. The candidate will work with a team to develop new assays, perform high throughput single cell RNA-seq assays, and assist in the day-to-day operation of the lab.
