Roles & Responsibilities
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate purchasing activities for materials and services based on company’s needs
- Handle quotation, issue purchase order and maintain updated records
- Track orders and ensure timely delivery
- Update internal databases with order details
- Conduct market research to identify pricing trends
- Evaluate offers from vendors and negotiate better prices
- Vendor sourcing activities
- Prepare reports – Price evaluation report, expenses report and etc.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS & PROFESSIONAL SKILLS
Good understanding of supply chain proceduresHands on experience with purchasing softwareComputer skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel and Power Point)Meticulous “eye” for detail and accuracyMinimum 2-3 years of work experienceMinimum Diploma or bachelor’s degreeTo better meet our needs, we require candidates with experience and knowledge in the following areas :
Piping : Including Pipe & fittings, bolts and nuts, gasketsValves : Such as ball valves, gate valvesStructure : Knowledge of plates, beans, angle barsHeat Exchangers : Familiarity with components like tube, tube sheets & bafflesConsumable Items : Experience with hardware tools, PPE, safety products, lifting gearExperience In EPC Project (Engineering, Procurement and Construction)Experience with Static Equipment and Rotating EquipmentWork from home is available for this role.Tell employers what skills you have
