Job description

Purpose

Focus on Employee Benefits Insurance segment for Lockton Companies :

  • Business development - acquisition of new accounts & coordination of IPMI sales activities across Asia
  • Consultant - advise on IPMI benefits and market trends

Key Tasks & Duties and Measurements

  • Identify, chase and convert opportunities for Employee Benefits new business.
  • Acquire new accounts through Cold Calls, Client / Internal Referrals, Gebiz Tenders and via social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook.
  • Develop and acquire Asia regional headquarter prospects and clients, working with respective Lockton offices to provide best in class regional and local insurance solutions. This includes compiling and putting together comparisons and presentations to prospects and clients.
  • Build the Lockton Brand through exemplary and timely client service.
  • Exceed the revenues budgeted for growing portfolio.
  • Assist clients in the event of major claims.
  • Ensure all activities that are undertaken are compliant with regulation and Lockton's internal standards and procedures.
  • Oversee growth strategy and sales opportunities, working closely with Heads of divisions and stakeholders
  • Maintain renewal income to at least budgeted levels and in line with set and agreed personal objectives.
  • Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
  • Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
  • Qualifications

  • 8+ years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of EB practices across Asia
  • Experience in strategic planning, project management, and EB insurance broking frameworks
  • Track record of delivering results and implementing operational excellence through various partner / carrier service agreements
  • Competencies

  • Strong analytical skills, organised and comfortable managing multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment
