Roles & Responsibilities
The Cleaner is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in assigned areas. This includes routine cleaning tasks, waste disposal, and replenishing supplies to ensure a clean and safe environment for staff, residents, or visitors.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and scrub floors in designated areas
- Clean and disinfect toilets, pantries, common areas, and workspaces
- Empty trash bins and dispose of waste according to procedures
- Wipe down windows, glass partitions, and furniture
- Replenish toilet supplies (e.g., toilet paper, soap, hand towels)
- Ensure proper use and storage of cleaning equipment and materials
- Report any maintenance issues (e.g., leaks, faulty lights) to supervisor
- Follow safety and hygiene protocols at all times
- Physically fit and able to perform cleaning duties
- Basic understanding of cleaning tools, materials, and safety precautions
- Able to work independently or as part of a team
- Prior cleaning experience is an advantage
- Willing to work shifts, weekends, or public holidays (if required)
