Roles & Responsibilities
A teacher who is responsible for nurturing and educating young children in a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment where children can develop their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical skills.
Job description :
- Implementing age-appropriate educational activities and lessons.
- Promoting social, emotional, and intellectual development through play, storytelling, arts and crafts, and other interactive methods.
- Assisting children with developing basic skills such as counting, letter recognition, and fine motor skills.
- Observing and evaluating children's behavior, progress, and learning abilities.
- Collaborating with parents or guardians to address any concerns or provide updates on their child's development.
- Maintaining a safe and clean classroom environment.
- Ensuring the well-being and safety of all children in their care.
- Guiding children in developing good habits, such as hygiene, sharing, and following routines.
- Providing positive reinforcement, encouragement, and support to promote self-esteem and confidence.
- Collaborating with other teachers and staff members in order to maintain a healthy working environment.
Requirements :
Education and Certification : Diploma in Early Childhood.Experience : Prior experience working with young children, in preschool setting, is preferredPatience and Communication Skills : communicate clearly and engage children in a positive manner.Be able to communicate effectively with parents or guardiansCreativity and Flexibility : possess creativity to design engaging and stimulating activities for children, flexible in adapting their teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and individual needsOrganization and Time Management : Effective organizational and time management skills for managing a classroom and planning educational activities. Preschool teachers should be able to create and follow schedules, maintain records, and manage resources effectivelyPhysical Stamina : physically fit with the stamina to actively engage with children throughout the dayTell employers what skills you have
