Our client is a leading influencer marketing agency looking to evolve. They are seeking a Creative Strategy Director to spearhead their transformation from a strong execution partner into an influence-led creative powerhouse.
This is a leadership role for a hybrid thinker—someone who blends brand strategy, creative direction, and social influence. Your mission is to elevate the work from "influencer placements" to strategic, culturally relevant storytelling where the influencer is the core of the creative idea, not just the distribution channel.
The Mission
- Transform the Output : Move beyond transactional campaigns to insight-driven, "influence-led" creative storytelling.
- Bridge the Gaps : Act as the strategic anchor that connects Business Development, Account Management, and Community teams.
- Make Impact : Create holistic campaigns that drive both tangible business results and genuine cultural impact.
What You Will Do
Build the Framework : Architect and lead the agency's creative strategy function from the ground up. You will define how the agency thinks, ideates, and pitches.Lead the Pitch : Elevate the quality of proposals by crafting compelling narratives and "influence-led" creative concepts that win big clients.Coach & Mentor : Act as a "High EQ" coach to the Account Management and Curator teams, training them to think more strategically and tell better stories.Drive Innovation : Turn audience insights into powerful creative ideas. You will ensure that influencers are seen as culture shapers and creative partners, not just media buys.Cross-Functional Leadership : collaborate respectfully across departments to integrate brand strategy with community insights.Who You Are

Experience : 8–15 years in creative strategy, brand strategy, or integrated marketing.Background : proven experience coming from social-first or hybrid creative agencies (e.g., BBH, Virtue, We Are Social, AnalogFolk, etc.).Portfolio : A track record of campaigns where influencers were central to the creative idea.Skills : Exceptional storytelling, deck narrative, and presentation skills. You must be comfortable facing clients and winning the room.Success Metrics (Year 1)
