Roles & Responsibilities
Responsibilities :
- Perform as a safety assessor role for the Permit-To-Work system
- Inspect and rectify any unsafe place of work and unsafe practices.
- Check sub-contractors work to ensure compliance with the relevant statutory Acts and Regulations.
- Liaison with sub-contractors with respect to safety work undertaken by them.
- Assist the WSHO in organizing safety awareness activities such as toolbox meetings, safety orientation, safety-related training, safety promotional activities, etc.
- Ensure that the issuance of personal protective equipment is properly recorded and documented.
- Ensure supervisors and workers are following safe work procedures compliance.
- Assist to investigate all site incidents / accidents & implement corrective measures to prevent a recurrence.
- Establishing emergency preparedness procedures in collaboration with Police, Emergency Response, Medical Services and interfacing contractors.
- Enforces all safety requirements and in-house safety rules and regulations.
Job Requirement
Minimum 2 years relevant experience preferably in the LTA project / building construction industry.Possess a Certificate in Safety Coordinators Course from approved institutesAble to work independently with a positive attitudePossess good leadership and organizing abilitiesTell employers what skills you have
