Roles & Responsibilities

We’re seeking a motivated professional to take ownership of AWS account onboarding and governance, ensuring every account is secure, compliant, and operationally ready from day one.

Key Responsibilities

Account Onboarding & Management

Lead the AWS account onboarding journey from request to production readiness.
Collaborate with application and business teams to understand requirements and project timelines.
Coordinate with Cloud Engineering, Security, Networking, and DevOps teams to deliver required configurations.

Provisioning & Configuration

Manage account provisioning through AWS Control Tower Account Factory.

Implement baseline security and compliance controls (e.g., GuardDuty, Security Hub, IAM Identity Center, CloudTrail) using Infrastructure-as-Code.

Configure network connectivity (VPC, Transit Gateway) and enforce access restrictions.

Compliance & Security

Ensure compliance with CIS Benchmarks and AWS Foundational Security Best Practices before handing over accounts.

Partner with Security Engineers on compliance checks, reviews, and remediation.

Stakeholder Engagement

Act as the main point of contact for onboarding queries.

Provide clear and timely status updates to stakeholders and management.

Maintain onboarding documentation, FAQs, and knowledge bases for self-service.

Continuous Improvement

Identify areas for process automation and improved efficiency.

Work with DevOps teams to embed automation pipelines into the account setup process.

What We’re Looking For

5+ years in enterprise IT operations, cloud service delivery, or project management (AWS experience strongly preferred).

Strong knowledge of AWS Control Tower, AWS Organizations, IAM, networking, and core security services.

Familiarity with CIS Benchmarks, AWS Well-Architected Framework, and cloud security standards.

Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation), CI / CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI), and compliance / security tooling.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders.

AWS certification (Solutions Architect or equivalent) is an advantage.
