We are looking for a strategic and experienced leader to guide teams in identifying user needs using design thinking and turning those into effective AI solutions that align with AI Central's vision. This role involves close collaboration with key stakeholders, product managers, and government agencies to deliver AI-driven projects that support the organisations goals. You will also help plan outreach efforts such as workshops and roadshows to promote AI adoption.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and manage engagement plans with senior stakeholders across government agencies and statutory boards.
 - Work closely with stakeholders and product managers to understand and assess requirements for new AI projects.
 - Lead teams in gathering user needs through design thinking and turning them into high-level solution designs.
 - Help agencies define their AI use cases and determine what tools or services are required to implement them.
 - Support resource planning by working with product teams to prioritise or scale back projects based on capacity.
 - Build partnerships with industry players, research institutes, and academia for joint development and knowledge exchange.
 - Track industry trends and emerging technologies to guide strategic planning and ensure alignment with the ministry's digitalisation roadmap.
 - Organise and lead outreach efforts such as workshops, roadshows, and community events to raise AI awareness and adoption.
 
Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related fields; background in AI, Data Science, or Machine Learning is required.At least 10 years of experience in tech development, with 5 years in a leadership role, especially in AI domains.Strong skills in designing and implementing tech solutions.Understanding of AI and data analytics platform architectures.Familiarity with various AI technologies (e.g., Vision AI, Language AI, Multi-modal AI, Adversarial AI).Proven ability to manage and engage senior stakeholders effectively.Experience leading cross-agency teams and collaborating on complex projects.Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills.Prior experience working with government agencies is a plus.Domain knowledge in the Homeland Security sector is an added advantage.Location : Buona Vista / One North
