BUS DRIVER (TEAM LEADER)

Responsibilities :

• Lead, coach, and mentor a team of bus drivers to ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Conduct regular briefings to communicate route changes, safety updates, and company policies.
• Monitor driver attendance, punctuality, and adherence to schedules.
• Ensure all drivers follow LTA regulations, traffic laws, and company safety protocols.
• Conduct routine checks on buses (e.g., brakes, lights, cleanliness) before deployment.
• Investigate and report incidents / accidents, implementing corrective actions.
• Plan and optimize bus schedules / routes to minimize delays and disruptions.
• Coordinate with transport managers during breakdowns, emergencies, or service adjustments.
• Monitor fuel consumption and maintenance needs to reduce operational costs.
• Address passenger complaints / feedback professionally and escalate issues if needed.
• Ensure drivers maintain courtesy and professionalism (e.g., assisting elderly / disabled passengers).
• Conduct on-the-job training for new drivers (e.g., route familiarization, defensive driving).
• Evaluate driver performance and recommend improvements or refresher courses.
• Maintain records (e.g., logbooks, incident reports, fuel usage).
• Assist in roster planning and shift allocations for daily operation and travel tours.

Salary : $8,500–$12,000 / month + allowance.
