Job Description

A welder joins metal parts together using specialized equipment and high heat, ensuring accurate and safe connections for various applications like construction, manufacturing. Understand blueprints, measure and cut metal, and complete welds according to specifications.

Key responsibilities :

• Reading and interpreting blueprints : Understanding designs, specifications, and diagrams to determine the appropriate welding process.
• Operating welding equipment : Utilizing various welding techniques like MIG, TIG, and arc welding.
• Measuring, cutting, and preparing metal pieces for welding.
• Performing welding tasks : Joining metal parts with precision and accuracy.
• Inspecting welds : Ensuring structural integrity and quality.
• Maintaining equipment and tools : Ensuring proper functioning and safety.
• Shaping and polishing metal after welding : Ensuring a smooth and polished finish.
• Working with different types of metals : Handling various alloys and materials.
• Following safety regulations : Adhering to safety procedures and using personal protective equipment.
