Role to be base in Vietnam.

Our client is seeking an experienced and innovative programmer to join their world-class manufacturing facility in Vietnam.

This is a hands-on, leadership-oriented role for someone who is passionate about blending technical precision with creative design.

Our client is a global powerhouse in performance apparel, and committed to sustainability and cutting-edge technology.

The Role :

You will be a key player in our sweater manufacturing operation, responsible for the entire programming lifecycle—from initial concept to final product.

Based in Nam Dinh, you will use your expertise in SDS-ONE APEX to write, test, and optimize knitting programs. You will work side-by-side with our product development teams to translate intricate designs into perfect, seamless garments.

Your technical leadership will be crucial for improving production efficiency, ensuring the highest quality standards, and training local staff.

Key Responsibilities :

Program Shima Seiki WholeGarment® machines with the SDS-ONE APEX system.

Translate creative designs and technical specifications into functional knitwear programs.

Collaborate with global and local teams to troubleshoot production issues and refine programs.

Conduct sample runs and optimize knitting parameters for various yarns and constructions.

Train and mentor a team of operators and technicians on programming best practices.

Maintain an organized and well-documented library of program files.

Requirements :

Significant hands-on experience with Shima Seiki WholeGarment® programming.

Advanced proficiency in SDS-ONE APEX.

A deep understanding of yarn properties, knit structures, and the mechanics of seamless knitting.

A problem-solving mindset and a detail-oriented approach to your work.
