Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Monitor and report on market risk exposures across the agri-commodities portfolio, ensuring alignment with commercial objective and risk appetite.
Assist in developing and maintaining market risk frameworks, including VaR, stress testing, scenario analysis, and exposure limit monitoring.
Support daily risk reporting and ensure accuracy and timeliness of data.
Engage directly with commercial, origination logistics and finance leaders and other relevant stakeholders to embed risk awareness and optimize trading strategies within the defined risk limits.
Track and communicate key market developments, such as geopolitical events or macroeconomic factors that may impact commodity prices.
Help improve reporting processes and adopt tools or automation to enhance risk management practices.

Key qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.

3–5 years of experience in market risk, trading risk, or a related analytical role (commodities experience preferred).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with familiarity in risk modeling tools and methodologies.

Proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools; knowledge of Python, Power BI, or other analytics software is a plus.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
