Manage a portfolio of customers, in a designated area, to execute sales plan.
Identify and approach new potential strategic customers
Systematically screen customer base for new opportunities, generates leads and maintains pipeline
Communicate with major clients on a regular basis and respond to specific queries
Suggest solutions and innovative ideas to meet client needs
Identify, plan and develop new customers in line with business development plans / targets.
Provide appropriate and agreed levels of contact, service and support to ensure sales targets are met.
Monitor sales against agreed targets on a regular basis to ensure they are met and where necessary the need for remedial actions are identified, reported and implemented.
Experience
Minimum 5 years' experience with marine / protective coatings in Sales
Proven track record of the ability to understand customer needs and provide customized solution to their needs
Strong communication skill
Proven experience in working in multidisciplinary team to achieve common goals
