Civil Engineer (EPC)

Job Description

Our client, a Japanese-listed Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) company known for its high-quality standards, is currently seeking a Civil Engineer (EPC) to join their team. This role is responsible for assisting with the engineering design and construction of onshore industrial facilities such as oil refineries, petrochemicals, and chemical plants. The ideal applicant will be in charge of doing structural calculations, analyzing civil drawings, and ensuring compliance with project specifications and regulatory standards.

This position reports directly to the Department Manager.

【 Responsibilities 】
- Create foundation, structural, and hydraulic design calculations.
- Ensure that load calculations and structural sizing meet standards.
- Support the creation of 3D models and shop drawings.
- Create a list of anchor bolts and setting bolts for procurement.
- Provide designers with clear technical facts and direction.
- Review and validate design drawings to ensure compliance and constructability.
- Work in project teams on FEED/EPC scopes.
- Assist with field engineering and site problem solving.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the manager.

Qualifications

• Requirement

  【 Requirement & Preferences 】
  
  (Must)
  - Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
  - Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in civil or structural design, preferably for industrial projects.
  - Good understanding of Singapore Building Code and experience with regulatory submission procedures.
  - Proficient in STAAD.Pro, with working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or MicroStation.
  
  (Advantageous)
  - Experience working on EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects will be an added advantage.
