Roles & Responsibilities

Our client, a global leader in chemical manufacturing with a strong presence in Asia is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT Specialist to join their team in Singapore.

Key responsibilities :

• Provide hands-on second-line technical support for hardware, software, and network issues—both in person and remotely.
• Ensure timely resolution of support tickets in line with priority levels and SLA commitments.
• Maintain and manage core IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and security systems.
• Lead the on-site rollout and implementation of global / regional IT projects.
• Keep our meeting rooms and collaboration tech (AV systems, video conferencing, etc.) running flawlessly.
• Install, configure, and update hardware and software for office and remote users.
• Manage IT asset lifecycle : track hardware, software licenses, and equipment inventory.
• Support employee onboarding with seamless IT setup and orientation.
• Monitor and optimize network performance for maximum uptime and reliability.
• Collaborate with vendors and service providers to ensure top-tier IT service delivery.
• Create and maintain clear IT documentation, policies, and procedures to boost efficiency.
