Roles & Responsibilities
Our client, a global leader in chemical manufacturing with a strong presence in Asia is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT Specialist to join their team in Singapore.
Key responsibilities :
- Provide hands-on second-line technical support for hardware, software, and network issues—both in person and remotely.
- Ensure timely resolution of support tickets in line with priority levels and SLA commitments.
- Maintain and manage core IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and security systems.
- Lead the on-site rollout and implementation of global / regional IT projects.
- Keep our meeting rooms and collaboration tech (AV systems, video conferencing, etc.) running flawlessly.
- Install, configure, and update hardware and software for office and remote users.
- Manage IT asset lifecycle : track hardware, software licenses, and equipment inventory.
- Support employee onboarding with seamless IT setup and orientation.
- Monitor and optimize network performance for maximum uptime and reliability.
- Collaborate with vendors and service providers to ensure top-tier IT service delivery.
- Create and maintain clear IT documentation, policies, and procedures to boost efficiency.
Requirement :
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.2–4 years of hands-on experience in IT support or a similar role.Solid understanding of servers, networks, cybersecurity, and endpoint management.Experience supporting AV equipment and video conferencing systems (e.g., Zoom Rooms, Teams Rooms, Crestron, etc.).Fluency in both English and Mandarin (written and spoken)—essential for user support and collaboration.Strong problem-solving skills, customer service mindset, and attention to detail.Ability to juggle multiple tasks, work independently, and thrive under pressure.Team player with excellent communication and organizational skills.Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified Professional, or ITIL Foundation.Experience working in multinational or matrixed environments.Tell employers what skills you have
