Job descriptionA bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Industrial Engineering is required. A minimum of eight years of experience in manufacturing engineering or NPI management is essential. Prior experience in contract manufacturing, electronics manufacturing services, or industrial / control system environments is highly desirable. Demonstrated expertise in technical manufacturing processes is crucial. The ability to lead complex projects and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams is vital.
NPI Manager Job Description
As a seasoned NPI Manager, your primary responsibility will be to oversee the seamless transition of products from development to mass production.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage the lifecycle of NPI projects, from prototype to full-scale manufacturing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D and design, to enhance manufacturability and cost-effectiveness.
- Develop and implement efficient manufacturing processes and assembly workflows.
- Promote continuous improvement in yield, productivity, and product quality.
- Coordinate supplier relationships and manage contract manufacturers.
- Ensure process validation and related manufacturing documentation are up-to-date.
