Electrical Engineer - Islandwide, SG

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities :

1. Complete electrical design tasks for projects on time, including modification of electrical drawings, and promptly communicate updates with the structural design team to ensure smooth coordination.

2. Propose constructive solutions during the electrical design process.

3. Provide technical support to the production / operations team as required.

4. Assist the sales department in addressing technical issues within technical agreements.

5. Support the after-sales service team in resolving technical issues related to customer support.

6. Responsible for electrical commissioning of company products, including system testing, parameter configuration, troubleshooting, and ensuring smooth operation of electrical control systems.

7. Communicate and coordinate with relevant stakeholders during customer acceptance, record quality issues in detail, and follow up on corrective actions.

8. Provide technical support for electrical control systems and assist customers in resolving electrical faults.

Requirements :

1. Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Automation, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline. Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English with good coordination abilities.

2. At least 2 years of relevant working experience, familiar with electrical standards, wiring, control panel design, and component selection. Experience with low- or medium-voltage distribution panels will be an advantage.

3. Hands-on experience in electrical system commissioning; familiarity with at least one PLC system (e.g., Siemens, Mitsubishi), with in-depth knowledge of one PLC being a strong plus.

4. Ability to interpret electrical schematics and circuit diagrams independently; knowledge of switchgear and electrical assembly products.

5. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in diagnosing and repairing electrical faults.

6. Proficiency in using electrical testing instruments and software tools for parameter testing and equipment calibration.

7. A team player with strong communication and collaboration skills, capable of working independently, eager to learn, and hands-on.
