Role Overview
You play a key role in the induction of the newly acquired Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF)’s systems by planning, managing, and resolving issues related to the material support of these systems. Responsibilities
Manage the initial material requirement planning for system inductions, major upgrading and new capability set‑up Perform sustainability analysis and stockpile planning to determine weapon system availability and sustainability to support the full spectrum of operational requirements Plan and ensure proper management and accurate accounting of all depot material disposition and expenses pertaining to weapon systems Consider project timeline, budget and follow‑on supportability constraints in material planning decisions Negotiate and manage local and foreign contractors Interpret analytical results and advise system managers on material support decisions Challenges
Understanding operational and maintenance requirements and planning parameters to perform stockpile planning and sustainability analysis effectively What We Are Looking For
Education in Supply Chain, Engineering or a related field At least 1 year of experience in material planning and support is preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP as well as optimisation and operational research tools Good analytical skills to interpret sustainability analysis results Confidence to negotiate and manage local and foreign contractors (Applicants with no experience may apply.)
