Roles & Responsibilities

Overview

We are partnering with a leading international bank to hire a Senior Officer for their Operations team, focusing on Settlement and Cash Management . This role offers the opportunity to work on both daily operations and strategic projects, including system enhancements and corporate internet banking initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operational tasks related to Settlement and Cash Management, including back-office onboarding for cash management products.
  • Support business initiatives by drafting requirements, conducting UAT testing, and assisting in project implementation.
  • Collaborate with senior management to optimize systems and corporate internet banking functionalities.
  • Compile and analyze data metrics, and prepare operational and management reports.
  • Work closely with front-office, fintech, compliance, and finance teams to ensure smooth workflows.
  • Undertake ad-hoc duties as assigned by senior management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in settlement and cash management operations, preferably in a banking environment.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin (spoken and written) is required to liaise with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders and Head Office.
  • Strong understanding of corporate internet banking services and settlement principles, with experience using SWIFT messages.
  • Good project exposure, with prior involvement in system or process implementation preferred.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Highly responsible, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
