This is not a vanilla role! We needA Unix Linux Engineer who can bring deep technical expertise and a knack for innovation to the table.

You will be responsible for managing our UNIX / LINUX environments and automating processes to optimize our systems. Your role will be crucial in driving the success of our technology operations.

The role requires deep technical expertise and the ability to innovate and automate processes to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our systems.

Qualifications and Profile

  • Minimum 6 -10 years of experience in managing Unix / Linux environment with about 3-5 years of experience in financial institutes.
  • Must be a bachelors / engineering graduate.
  • Subject matter expert on technologies - R edhat 6 / 7 / 8, Solaris 10 / 11, HP-UX 11.31, Veritas Infoscale Cluster and MC / Service Guard Cluster.
  • In depth hands on knowledge / experience with NFS, NIS, LDAP, Centrify, Redhat Satellite, KVM Virtualization, LDOM / OVM and HPE & Sun-Oracle hardware .
  • Well versed with Scripting and Automation (Ansible, Python, Bash).
  • Knowledge and / or hands on working experience with emerging technologies - Cloud IaaS, Hadoop Big Data, Network / Security basics, Storage / Backup basics, HyperV / ESX basics
  • At least a Bachelor's degree in any of these faculties :
  • Computer Science
  • Information Technology
  • Programming & Systems Analysis
  • Science (Computer Studies)
  • Work Schedule :

  • Flexibility to start work earlier or extend working hours when necessary.
  • This role includes rotational shifts to ensure coverage and support across different time zones.
