Key Responsibilities

1.

Process Study &

Documentation

Observe

and map the current workflows from order receipt to

execution.

Identify bottlenecks, redundancies,

and manual steps.

Document standard operating

procedures

(SOPs).

2.

Data Analysis

Collect

and analyses data on lead times, demand forecasting, yield losses,

and throughput.

Study historical planning

accuracy vs. actual

production.

3.

Order Receiving &

Promising

Understand

the system / process of handling new orders.

Evaluate how customer commitments are made (capacity,

lead time, raw material availability).

Suggest

improvements to make order promising more accurate and

reliable.

4.

Optimization & Automation

Research planning tools / software being used and explore

automation opportunities.

Recommend

integration points (ERP, MES, forecasting tools).

Propose ways to reduce manual

intervention.

5.

Yield Loss Reduction & Throughput

Maximization

Analyze

production data to identify yield loss points.

Collaborate with production & quality teams to

understand causes.

Suggest process changes or

optimization algorithms to minimize

losses.

6.

Reporting & Recommendations

Create reports summarizing findings, improvement

opportunities, and expected impact.

Present

suggestions with cost-benefit analysis to

management.
