Roles & Responsibilities

Requirements :

  • Minimum 3 years working experience with hands on knowledge of preparing cost estimates
  • ITE / Diploma / Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering
  • Must be able to read and understand engineering drawings.
  • Able to work independently and a team player in a multi-tasking environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills with excellent spoken and written communication skills, need to interact with internal and external stakeholders in a multi-cultural environment may need to liase with Chinese speaking clients.
  • Good knowledge of sheet metal fabrication industry or machining industry.

Roles and Responsibilities :

  • prepare detailed cost estimations with labour, material, manufacturing costs;
  • study customer's requirements, liaise with customer and conceptualize design;
  • Follow up on quotations and secure orders;
  • Develop design drawings and material list;
  • Identify the best production method with production supervisors to maximize productivity for each project;
  • Review processes and engineering techniques to improve quality, yield and cycle time;
  • Coordinate & participate with internal and external stakeholders to address clarifications / negotiations and review of designs / manufacturing / sourcing methods to optimize costs
  • Undertake projects as and when assigned by the company;

    • Experience / Technical Knowledge

  • Knowledge of AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor and Solid works
  • Knowledge in MS Office
  • Ability to read, analyse, and interpret common scientific and technical journals
