Roles & Responsibilities

• Work with project managers to break down high-level requirements into actionable tasks. They provide realistic technical estimates and identify risks.
• Lead team within territory, inclusive of workload distribution, managing performance, coaching, and mentoring / train new / junior staffs within department.
• Lead team for design and costing on Analyzer System, not limited to Sample Handling System, Analyzers, and Racks / Cabinets / Shelters.
• Implementation of engineering process with best practices, standards, tools, policies, procedures, templates and other shared documentation available from Company.
• Source and evaluate new products, i.e. analyzers, sample system components, etc.
• Support international project through other offices as and when required.
• Maintain confidentiality of any information that are classified as Confidential.
• Assume leadership and management of engineering & project team members assigned and to develop them into proficient individual / team member.
• Ensuring timely and appropriate generation, collection, dissemination, storage and ultimate disposition of information.
• Ensuring integrity of the project and engineering documentation archives in accordance with the Company Procedure.
• Conduct post-project reviews.
• Implementation and maintenance of the lessons learned process.
• Ensuring focus on understanding customer needs and solving of customer problems to improve customer satisfaction.
• Providing sales support on engineering issues for system projects.
• Ensuring accurate and competitive cost estimation for major systems project pursuit.
