Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities :
- Development of power electronics for battery chargers.
- Topology selection, circuit design, component selection, and power loss calculations.
- Schematic and PCB layout design.
- Creating and executing test and verification plans.
- Ensuring safety and certification compliance.
- Promptly resolving design issues.
- Liaising with various stakeholders.
- Effective communication within a diverse team.
Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or related fieldMinimum of 5 years’ experience in power electronics design.Proficiency in topology selection, circuit design, component selection, and power loss calculations.Experience in CC / CV charger systems and working on power supplies with power levels >500W.
Previous experience of using wide bandgap devices will be a plus.Knowledge of digital and analog control methods will be a plus.Working experience in schematic design and PCB layout software, e.g. OrCAD, PADS, or other equivalent softwareFamiliar with simulation tools, e.g. LTspice, PSIM, or other equivalent softwareAcquainted with test equipment such as AC / DC source, electronic load, oscilloscope, and soldering iron.Experience in volume manufacturing.(EA Licence No. 14C7000)
