Roles & Responsibilities

He / She is committed to providing the highest levels of comfort and hospitality to guests, which leads to achieving maximum guest satisfaction and organisational profitability.

Creates standard operating procedures for operations, keeping in line with the hotel’s service standards. The Executive Housekeeper / Director of Housekeeping handles budgeting and control on expenses. He / She also needs to oversee inventory checks.

  • Handles all staff matters, including hiring and training. He / She resolves issues and directs teams to meet the hotel’s standards. He / She also shows a high level of organisational awareness and leadership skills. He / She often works and consults with other departments / sections within the hotel.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Analyse and recommend best practices & technology in hospitality
  • Apply systems thinking to resolve problems and make decisions
  • Assess and review hospitality data
  • Come up with innovations for customer experience
  • Conduct presentation to senior management
  • Contribute to the design and development of a productivity framework
  • Develop self to maintain professional competence at senior management level
  • Directly manage crisis situations
  • Drive service quality and customer satisfaction
  • Lead managers to develop organisational and governance strategies
  • Manage and direct negotiationss
  • Manage asset and inventory
  • Manage budgeting & forecasting processes
  • Manage cross functional and culturally diverse teams
  • Manage housekeeping department's human resource
  • Manage quality system and processes
  • Manage resource planning
  • Prepare budgets for the business unit
  • Provide information for management to make decisions
