Roles & Responsibilities

Java Software Developer - Singapore

Are you an experienced Java Software Engineer with a passion for building enterprise-grade applications? If you have at least 3 years of hands-on experience in Java development and an interest in low-code platforms like Mendix, we want you to join our team!

Key Responsibilities :

  • Application Development : Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level IT systems and applications.
  • System Support : Investigate and resolve system issues, and support system enhancements and updates.
  • Team Collaboration : Partner with project teams to oversee the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Performance Optimisation : Troubleshoot and enhance system performance for seamless operations.
  • Technical Documentation : Create and maintain system design documents, technical specifications, and user manuals.

    • What We’re Looking For :

  • Java Expertise : A minimum of 3 years in Java and Java EE development, using frameworks such as Struts, JSF, Spring, EJB, Hibernate, or iBatis.
  • Agile Experience : 1-2 years of Agile Development experience with a solid grasp of Agile methodologies.
  • Web Development Proficiency : Strong skills in Java EE web application development and Java UI frameworks.
  • Low-Code Platforms :

    • Prior knowledge or experience with platforms like Mendix is a plus.

    Alternatively, a willingness to undergo training and certification in Mendix if required.

    This is a 1 year contract to start, renewable and convertible to permanent.
