Roles & Responsibilities
Projects Assistant Manager, Private Banking
- Assist with the projects / initiatives including the development, implementation and maintenance of :
- o The team’s resource management databases;
- o Legal templates, standard documents;
o Product Guides, Frameworks, Flowcharts
o Internal guides or policies (where applicable)
and identifying areas of improvement to legal precedents and developing new templates in line with business needs.f
Support the assessment / onboarding of complex structures and transactions (as and when assigned and required) across the suite of wealth planning solutions including but not limited to trusts, family offices, philanthropic vehicles and variable capital companies.Liaise with bank stakeholders (e.g. Trustee, Wealth Planning teams) and external legal and tax advisors.Assist with trainings for Relationship Managers, Wealth Planners & Trustee Trust Managers (TMs) through coordinating internal and external trainings conducted by external professionals.Review, comment and analyse legal and tax opinions.Assist with monitoring new laws, regulations, and developments relevant to the business and drafting updates via Wealth Planning Briefs and Fact Sheets on latest development with respect to the evolving regulatory and taxation environment in the Bank’s core markets.Support the Head of WPSH, the team and the Bank’s stakeholders on various Wealth Planning related strategic initiatives, with a lead role in :Managing project timelines, tracking and follow-ups; andMaintaining and updating WPSH’s resource repository.Handle any other work assigned from time to time by the Head of WPSH.Job Requirements / Skills and Qualifications :
Some working experience in the private wealth space and familiarity with wealth planning solutions.Legal background (including paralegal experience) or training in accountancy (preferred but not mandatory).STEP qualified (preferred but not mandatory).Fluency in AI and leveraging on GenAI tools.Adept at maintaining resource databases.Self-motivated individual who takes initiative.Strong drafting, analytical and communication skills.Solution oriented with an eye for accuracy.Job Requirements / Skills and Qualifications :
