Roles & Responsibilities

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about IT and has experience in computer networking - firewall, VPN, servers, switches etc.

Career progression for candidates with aptitude and the willingness to put in the effort to grow with the company.

This position is mainly based in Penjuru with periodic deployment to customer sites depending on projects.

JOB SCOPE

  • PaperCut deployment and troubleshooting
  • PaperCut User Training (on-site) and Phone + Teamviewer Support
  • Manages IT infrastructure related projects and services.
  • Maintain and proactively improve the IT infrastructure of the company to avoid disruptions to operations. The infrastructure covers office equipment like personal computers, network, servers, photocopiers, printers, IP-PBX, CCTV.
  • Manages, administers and provides support for network infrastructure and network / firewall / VPN change requests.
  • Overall responsible for, procure and maintain inventory of the necessary hardware
  • Escalation point for IT operations matters, pertaining to system, CCTV, network, and voice services.
  • Manage network capacity and email administration such as creating / maintaining user ids and email addresses.
  • Responsible for the stable operation of the in-house computer software systems and network connections.
  • Support ICT infrastructure (network, servers, backup, desktop).
  • Infrastructure monitoring and maintenance
  • Any other related IT technical support work

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum Qualifications Diploma / Degree in BSc or BEng in Computer Science / Infocommunication / Internetworking or related disciplines
  • At least 2 year(s) of relevant experience in network & Internet services, computer & mobile devices and information system
  • In-depth hands-on experience in configuring and troubleshooting routers and switches network equipment as well as FortiGate firewall and its implement in corporate as well as hosting networks.
  • Linux, Mac and Windows Admin skills.
  • Good knowledge in managing and configuring virtualization environment, KVM, Hyper-V, Vmware.
  • Admin experience in Office365, LDAP, Active Directory, AzureAD
  • Experience with various open-source monitoring tools like Wireshark.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Good attitude and a willingness to learn
  • Patient and meticulous
  • PaperCut experience an advantage (Training will be provided)
  • Class 2B or Class 3 (Manual) license is an advantage.
  • Other Job Details

  • Report to office at Penjuru (West) and will be dispatched to customer's sites when required
  • 5 day work week (Mon-Fri 8.30am-6pm)
  • May need to work on weekends
  • Starting salary commensurates with candidate's aptitude, experience and skill.
