Job description

Roles & Responsibilities

Mechanics

Responsibilities :

  • Perform construction machinery fitting and assembly on construction machinery including but not limited to excavators, cranes, etc
  • Perform routine preventive machinery maintenance, checking, inspection, troubleshooting, repairs and overhauls via assigned and allocated resources to meet targets through planned and scheduled annual maintenance activities
  • Conduct inspections to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety regulations
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work, including service logs and equipment history
  • Operate heavy machinery and perform lifting works when required

Requirements :

  • Candidate must possess at least Secondary school education / NITEC in Mechanical Fitting / Vocation certification in mechanics or a related field
  • Proven experience as a mechanic in the construction or heavy equipment machinery fitting and maintenance
  • Valid driver's license and ability to operate construction machinery when required
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to details
  • Basic knowledge in MS Office and undertake simple data entry tasks
  • Able to work independently
