Job descriptionPrevious experience in a similar role, preferably in a childcare setting, demonstrating competence in cooking and maintaining cleanliness. Knowledge of food safety standards, hygiene practices, and proper cleaning techniques. Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment with young children and adapt to their needs. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with childcare center staff. Physical stamina and ability to perform tasks that involve standing, bending, lifting, and moving around the childcare center. Certificate in Food Handling and Safety.
Roles & Responsibilities
Job Scope
- Cleans classroom, toilets, common areas ,office, reception, parents’ area, windows, doors, fans, shelves, cabinet, shoe racks, cubbies, children’s tables and chairs (including dining area)
- Cleans floor rugs, art and craft area, and soft covers
- Cleans area if children soil themselves
- Clears rubbish from classroom / office
- Washing of dishes
- Maintain and stock-take cleaning supplies
- Assist in kitchen when needed
- Prepare simple meals when needed
