Roles & Responsibilities

About the Role :

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Project Manager to lead and manage marine construction projects. This role is ideal for someone who can work independently within a small, dynamic team and is passionate about delivering high-quality work under challenging conditions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, scheduling, budgeting, and overseeing all aspects of project execution. A background in marine construction is highly preferred, but candidates with strong experience in civil construction works , especially piling (bore piling, sheet piling, RCD), are also encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead and manage marine construction projects from planning to completion
  • Develop, monitor, and update project schedules and costing
  • Oversee daily project progress and ensure milestones are met
  • Attend site meetings and liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards
  • Maintain good working relationships with clients, coworkers, and site teams
  • Motivate and lead the team to achieve project goals under tight deadlines
  • Identify and resolve site or design issues effectively
  • Prepare project reports and updates for management and stakeholders

Requirements :

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of project management experience in construction, preferably in marine construction
  • Strong understanding of project scheduling, costing, and resource planning
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to manage teams and subcontractors
  • Experience with piling works (bore piling, sheet piling, RCD) is an added advantage
  • Able to work independently and make sound decisions on-site
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Able to handle pressure in a fast-paced and demanding environment
  • Willing to travel to project sites and attend site meetings regularly
