Job Description :

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Commissioning Engineer to carry out programming, testing, commissioning, and handover of electrical systems for our projects. The role requires strong technical expertise, hands-on commissioning experience, and leadership skills to ensure systems are delivered safely, on time, and in full compliance with project and client requirements.

Responsibilities :

• Plan, execute, and supervise commissioning of electrical systems (22kV switchgear, transformers, protection relays, hipot, and related equipment).
• Prepare, review, and maintain all commissioning documentation, including client submissions.
• Supervise and monitor defined test procedures, start-up sequences, reliability runs, and performance tests.
• Oversee functional and operational tests to prepare equipment for first start-up.
• Manage and guide commissioning technicians during live equipment testing, ensuring strict adherence to safety.
• Ensure QA / QC integration within commissioning processes and procedures.
• Witness and support Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) with contractors as required.
• Prepare inspection reports, certificates, progress reports, and site correspondence.
• Liaise with client QA / QC and testing teams to ensure smooth execution.
• Generate MSCRs (Maintenance System Change Requests) during project handover.
• Ensure commissioning acceptance criteria align with design specifications and client requirements.
• Carry out other duties assigned by the Commissioning Manager.
