Role Title : VP, Azure Data Platform Solution Architect

We are looking for a seasoned Azure Data Platform Solution Architect to lead the design, evaluation, and delivery of cloud-based data solutions within the financial services domain. This role requires deep technical expertise in Azure, Databricks, and enterprise data architecture, combined with strong leadership and collaboration skills to drive innovation and compliance in data-driven initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive the conceptualization and delivery of data solution architectures aligned with project requirements and enterprise IT strategies.
• Participate in vendor, product, and technology evaluation and selection for solution proposals.
• Collaborate with enterprise architects, SMEs, and product vendors to ensure compliance with enterprise principles, standards, and guidelines.
• Act as a bridge between enterprise architecture and project technical delivery teams.
• Design and maintain Azure Data Architectures , ensuring compliance with data-related policies and standards.
• Architect and implement Databricks-based data solutions including pipelines, ETL processes, and data lakes.
• Analyze system integration challenges and propose effective data-related solutions.
• Partner with data engineers and IT teams to address technical issues and support infrastructure needs.
• Implement robust data security and privacy protection measures.
• Develop strategies for data acquisition, archival recovery, and database implementation .
• Ensure compliance of data solutions with regulatory requirements in collaboration with data governance teams.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize architecture.
• Stay up to date with Azure platform, Databricks, and emerging data solution practices.
