Therapy Assistant

The Role

To assist therapist in the preparation of patients for treatment and implementation of selected aspects of treatment under the supervision of therapist.

Key accountabilities

• Prepare patients for therapy.
• Assist therapists in various activities, e.g. walking of patient, splint making, etc.
• Supervise patient in carrying out repetitive exercises.
• Assist in transfers and activities of daily living of patients
• Provide coverage for Administrative Assistant / Porter, if needed
• Monitor equipment / supplies on loan or for sale
• Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the respective Supervisor.
