Roles & Responsibilities

Role :

M&E Engineer (Up to $6100)

Working Days : 5 Day A Week (Monday – Friday)
Working Hours : 8 : 30am -5 : 30pm
1 working at office, M&E Department (City Hall area), at least 5 years’ experience, salary $4500 - $6100
1 working at Jurong West project site, at least 3 years’ experience, salary up to $5400

Requirements :

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering

At least 3-5 years in M&E services & Experience in Main Contractor or Sub contractor M&E Department

Job scope :

To coordinate with consultants / subcontractors on the shopdrawings / samples / method statement and keep all involved parties updated of the latest changes.

To attend project / technical meeting and resolve site issues with owner / consultants for the site progress to proceed smoothly.

To verify the work done on site is in accordance with the approved drawings / specifications / authority’s requirement and also ensured that the subcontractor carry out rectification for non-compliance.

Conduct weekly M&E meeting with the M&E sub-contractors to ensure that their work is in proper sequence and ensure that the site supervisors are aware of the work sequence to avoid clashes of site activities.

To resolve site issues with consultants / subcontractor / supplier ASAP to minimise delay to the construction progress.

To ensure that the related documentations are updated and ready for ISO audit.

To cooperate with the safety department and carry out the assigned duties within the safety framework including permit to work.

To coordinate with consultants and contractors for combined services / equipment testing so that site is ready for authorities’ inspection.
