Summary : The Assistant
Marketing Manager will play a key role in driving the digital
presence, events and online engagement for projects. This
individual will be responsible for executing digital marketing
campaigns, managing social media accounts, optimizing the
association or project's website, and supporting online content
initiatives to enhance the visibility of the association's mission
and events. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of
digital marketing strategies, social media platforms, and website
management.
Key
Responsibilities :
Campaign Execution : Develop
and implement digital and event marketing campaigns across various
channels (social media, email marketing, website, paid media, etc.)
to promote the association's events, programs, and
initiatives.
Content Creation
& Management : Create compelling digital content
(e.g., blog posts, articles, newsletters, videos, and graphics)
that aligns with the goals and audience interests.
Social Media Management :
Manage and grow the social media presence on platforms like
Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and others. Schedule posts, engage
with followers, and monitor trends.
Website Optimization :
Oversee the content management of the website, ensuring that it is
up-to-date, user-friendly, and optimized for search engines
(SEO).
Marketing : Design and execute email marketing
campaigns, including newsletters and event promotions, to engage
members and prospects.
Search
Engine Optimization (SEO) : Implement on-page and
off-page SEO strategies to improve search rankings and drive
organic traffic to the association's website.
Paid Advertising : Assist in
managing digital advertising campaigns (Google Ads, Facebook Ads,
etc.), monitoring budgets, and analyzing the ROI of paid marketing
efforts.
Member
Engagement : Leverage digital platforms to engage
with members and stakeholders, encouraging participation in the
activities, events, and initiatives.
Brand Consistency : Ensure
all digital content aligns with the brand guidelines and
voice.
Collaboration : Work closely
with other departments, including event management, membership, and
communications teams, to align digital marketing efforts with
broader organizational goals.
Leadership : to lead a team
of marketing executives in ensuring timely and consistent delivery
of marketing
objectives
Skills
Qualifications :
Proven experience (at least 2 year) in
marketing.
Solid understanding of digital
marketing tools and platforms.
Familiarity
with SEO techniques, website management, and content management
systems (CMS) is a plus.
Strong knowledge of
social media platforms and trends.
Experience
with email marketing tools and campaign design.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with
an ability to create engaging content.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and
make data-driven decisions.
Proficiency in
Microsoft Office Suite and digital design tools (e.g., Adobe
Creative Suite, Canva).
Ability to multitask
and manage multiple digital projects simultaneously.
Strong attention to detail and organizational
skills.
Ability to lead a
team
