Pathlight School is the first autism-focused school in Singapore to offer a unique blend of mainstream academic curriculum and life readiness skills. We are currently the largest special education school in Singapore and due to our further expansion, we invite candidates who have proven commitment and competence to join us in the role of Autism Therapist.

Autism Resource Centre (Singapore) or ARC(S), is a not-for-profit charity based in Singapore. ARC(S) is dedicated to serving children and adults on the autism spectrum, to help these individuals lead meaningful and independent lives in society. ARC (S) offers a wide range of services : Pathlight School, and two social enterprises, The Art Faculty and Professor Brawn.

The Team :

The Autism Intervention, Training & Consultancy (AITC) team helps individuals on the autism spectrum maximise their potential in life through advocacy and provision of direct services in education, employment and empowerment of family caregivers and professionals.

Your Impact and Contribution :

  • Develop and deliver behaviour plan in collaboration with other key stakeholders
  • Plan and deliver programmes for students with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) in the area of Life Readiness skills ( self-regulation, work habits, social and thinking skills)
  • Manage an emergency support line for school staff requiring immediate support for behavioural support
  • Plan and deliver training on ASD related topics to stakeholders
  • Participate in team assessment for school admissions

Requirements

  • A Degree in Psychology or related fields
  • Passion to help special needs students maximise their talents and potential
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changes and different perspectives
  • Strong analytical and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member in a fast-paced work environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
