Description

Develop music lesson

plans and resources

Teach practical

techniques, music theory, rhythm, and performance skills specific

to the chosen instrument

Assess, document, and

communicate the development, progress and attainment of

students

Plan, organise and coordinate

department and school programmes

Maintain

positive teacher-student relationship

Monitor

students' social and emotional well-being

Work

with parents and relevant stakeholders, if necessary

Perform other related duties as assigned for the purpose

of ensuring the efficient and effective function of the work

unit

Guide and coach Teacher Aides supporting

music lessons

Job Requirements

Recognised Degree or Diploma in

Music Education (Preferred)

Minimum 3 years of

experience teaching music

Preferably able to

work with students with Autism

Excellent

team-player
