Job
Description : Study and
analyze tender documents including drawings, specifications, bill
of quantities (BOQ), and contract conditions.
Perform quantity take-offs and measurements from drawings
and models (including digital take-off tools such as Cubicost or
CostX).
Prepare preliminary cost estimates and
detailed cost breakdowns.
Source and analyze
quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
Develop accurate cost plans and pricing strategies based
on project requirements and market conditions.
Identify potential cost risks and propose value
engineering options.
Ensure costing aligns
with contractual requirements and project
specifications.
Liaise with internal
departments (engineering, procurement, planning) for technical
inputs and project requirements.
Prepare and
compile tender submission documents including BOQ, pricing
schedules, and supporting data.
Ensure all
documentation complies with client requirements and submission
deadlines.
Assist in preparing post-tender
clarifications and cost negotiations.
Any
other duties assigned by
superior.
Job
Requirements :
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Degree in
Quantity Surveying, Building, or related discipline.
Minimum 0-3 years of relevant experience in tendering,
cost estimation, or pre-contract quantity surveying.
Detail-oriented with ability to work under tight
deadlines.
