We are looking for a highly motivated economist to join our dynamic team. The individual should be able to think quickly on his / her feet and adapt well in a fast-changing environment.

You will play a crucial role in shaping Singapore's economic policies and strategies. In addition to conducting economic research, analyzing data, you will also be providing insights to support key decision-making processes within A

  • STAR and the broader Singapore research ecosystem. You will engage and work closely with internal and external stakeholders to strategically shape future R&D directions and corral cross-divisional teams to achieve specific outcomes / goals. In the process of stakeholders engagement and management, you will have ample opportunities to interact with A
  • STAR senior management directly, as well as various counterparts in government agencies.
  • JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • At least 5 years working experience
  • Strong communication and presentation skills - ability to articulate ideas and concepts through compelling storytelling
  • Self-starter mindset, takes initiative and resourcefulness
  • Strong leadership and project management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Experience in economic research, analysis, and data modeling.
  • Proficiency in statistical software and data analysis tools.
  • Knowledge of Singapore's economic landscape and national priorities is a plus.
  • Previous experience as an economist in a research institution, government agency, or industry is preferred.
