CLINIC ASSISTANT Description - The role of the Clinic Assistant is to ensure an excellent overall experience for patients. You will be a part of a team responsible for the support and maintenance of the clinical operations of the medical clinic. Responsibilities - Overall in charge of reception duties- Register patients - Prepare and dispense medications - Collect payments - Handle phone calls / enquiries - Submission of claims for managed health contracts, insurances, CHAS / PG and Medisave etc - Vendor management and coordination - Assist doctors in simple clinic procedures including chaperone - Perform basic medical examinations or tests on patient - Clinic equipment maintenance and set‑up - Procurement of medical supplies and general equipment - Maintain general cleanliness of the clinic - Maintain administration and filing of clinic’s paperwork - Handling patients and walk‑in appointments with professionalism and care Knowledge & Skills required for the Role - Good spoken and written English - Proficient Mandarin / Malay / Tamil would be desirable due to the daily interaction with patients. Other language and dialect skills are also considered an advantage. - At least GCE "N" levels / ITE Diploma in a relevant field of studies - Experience is appreciated but not essential - Excellent communication and organizational skills. - Hands‑on experience of working in a busy and start‑up environment, ideally in a clinic / medical set up. - Able to handle sensitive data professionally and confidentially - Have an enthusiastic, positive and flexible attitude with a 'can do’ approach; the candidate should be articulate and demonstrate a learning passion for clinical systems. - This is a very hands‑on, customer facing role and you will report to the Medical Doctors of the clinic. #J-18808-Ljbffr Industry
