About Us
Introduction
We are looking for a Managing Director in Singapore to take the business into the next phase of growth, leveraging all the assets that are now part of the Toluna group, following the successful acquisition of MetrixLab, and to continue building our successful, harmonized and unified team. This role involves leading the commercial business unit in Singapore, to ensure that you and they can grow the local business.
Responsibilities
- Build a high-performing commercial team, who will develop and grow their portfolio of clients. Support them in building strategic account plans and growing their business. Mentor, coach and develop all commercial team members, and execute bi-annual reviews for line reports.
- Manage the local markets pipeline and forecast, ensuring you are delivering growth and delivering on all commercial KPIs that you are set (primarily Bookings & Revenue).
- Be active and visible on all large pitches and with the largest accounts. Ensure your team is providing a strong impact on your client’s businesses. Be the key PoC on large clients with regional / global presence.
- Support the NBD directors on proposals and pitches.
- Develop strategies for existing and growth accounts and partner with the Regional MD in preparing business cases. Actively contribute to driving strategic initiatives within the country to drive business growth.
- Coach your commercial team and support them in their development.
- Set the cultural tone and embed the right values within the team. Partner with the Research Director in the market to build a unified culture. Create a company culture that continues to encourage collaboration, trust and unity.
- Represent the company in external conferences and client partnering thought leadership events.
Your Profile
Extensive commercial experience, selling research and / or platform (ideally both) and delivering sustained and significant growth.Extensive experience successfully leading, developing and shaping a team.Strong client network in Singapore / SEA and experience working with global multi-national brands in Singapore.Ability to understand client needs and demands in a research contextExcellent listening skillsHas solid knowledge of research methodology and contentHas excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop effective working relationships with both internal partners and external clientsGreat communication skillsHands-on and proactiveEmbodies the values of TolunaWorking from the office 3-4 days a week minimum.Our Values
