Roles & Responsibilities
Job Scope
- Together with the QP(S), provide overall team direction and management to realise the project objectives and activities as required by the Superintending Officer and consultants, ensuring that the project is delivered to the highest technical and safety standards
- Review Contractors’ proposal, method statements and designs
- To assist QP(S) and QP(Geo) in reviewing the construction proposals and implement supervision oversight of these construction works carried out by the Contractors
- Lead the RTOs to check all drawings (including shopdrawings, construction drawings) and specifications for discrepancies
- Overview of the quality system implementation, materials approval and compliance testing procedures
- To provide overview of WSH and aerodrome safety management systems and risk analyses and implementation of safe working practices on site
- Carry out any other duties related to the Project, including administrative tasks as directed by SRE or client
Qualifications & Requirements
The RE-Geotechnical shall have minimum five (5) years of relevant experience as a geotechnical engineer, of which at least three (3) years shall be in supervision of works in bored piling and temporary works such as haul road and temporary drainage diversion, ERSS, excavation works, ground improvement works, flood prevention and mitigationThe RE- Geotechnical shall possess a Geotechnical engineering degree recognised by the Professional Engineers Board of SingaporeThe RE- Geotechnical shall be accredited with the Joint Accreditation Committee of the Institution of Engineers Singapore and the Association of Consulting Engineers SingaporeConversant with statutory code and requirements for site supervision, quality control procedures, construction administration and submission of progress reportTell employers what skills you have
