Establish and maintain excellent relationships with marine sector clients to ensure technical expertise and support throughout the sales process.
Collaborate with local businesses to get necessary permits, approvals, and documentation for regional sales activities.
Interacting with customers to interpret their wants and requirements to the workshop and contractors, and reporting project status to managers on a regular basis.
Adapt common engine designs to match customer requirements includes conducting calculations on power output, fuel efficiency, emissions and cooling systems.
Maintain the project timeline by monitoring progress and coordinating activities, addressing difficulties, and preparing status reports along with.
Coordinating materials and assisting with logistics, shipment, and receipt parts / equipment.
Monitor and follow-up with Head Office on engine shipment documentation and engine delivery schedule to guarantee timely delivery in accordance with contract specifications.
Liaise with Head Office and suppliers for paperwork.
Provide technical solutions and answers to customers' installation and technical concerns.
Organize, collate, and prepare detailed mechanical (2D or 3D formats) electrical designs for customers to follow their specifications
To complete any other tasks specified by the Project Manager, including Conferences, exhibitions, and technical meetings
Prepare a quote and other requested documents for sales managers.
Requirements :
A minimum of three years' experience in marine engine sales, projects, and applications engineering or technical support in the maritime sector.
Expertise in project management, handling, and implementation.
Successfully managed technical and commercial projects from start to finish preferably involving shipyards, vessel owners, or original equipment manufacturers.
