Roles & Responsibilities

Primary Role

Carry out preventive maintenance, repairs, and servicing of hotel facilities and equipment to ensure a safe, functional, and comfortable environment for guests and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repair works on electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Attends to maintenance requests and breakdowns promptly to minimize disruption.
• Support guest room maintenance and resolve in-room technical issues efficiently.
• Assist in the upkeep and repair of kitchen, laundry, and other back-of-house equipment.
• Ensure tools, materials, and spare parts are properly used, stored, and maintained.
• Monitor and report any unsafe conditions or equipment malfunctions.
• Follow safety standards and comply with hotel policies and statutory requirements.
• Assist Duty Engineers and senior team members in troubleshooting and major repair works.
• Maintain accurate records of daily tasks and completed assignments.
• Support energy-saving and sustainability initiatives within the property.
