Brighton
Montessori is seeking an experienced and passionate
Centre Leader (Principal) to oversee
the daily operations, lead curriculum implementation, and drive
excellence in teaching and learning. This role is critical in
shaping a positive Centre culture, supporting staff development,
and ensuring alignment with ECDA standards and our educational
philosophy.
Roles &
Responsibilities
1.
Leadership & Manpower
Management
Manage the
Centre's staffing resources and review manpower plans to meet
operational needs.
Establish a culture of
mentoring, coaching, and continuous capability
development.
Lead initiatives to promote team
collaboration and professional
growth.
2. Centre
Operations
Oversee
daily Centre operations, systems, and processes for efficiency and
effectiveness.
Manage the Centre's budget and
ensure compliance with operational standards.
Implement preventive strategies to address challenges
faced by staff.
3.
Programme & Service
Excellence
Drive the
Centre's strategic direction, culture, and governance.
Promote continuous learning and innovation across all
programmes.
Champion the Centre's mission,
vision, and values among staff and
families.
4.
Curriculum & Programme
Planning
Lead the
design and implementation of high-quality learning
experiences.
Enhance learning needs assessment
and child engagement strategies.
Ensure
compliance with health, safety, nutrition, and hygiene
practices.
Introduce innovative teaching tools
and assistive technologies aligned with sector
trends.
5. Stakeholder
Engagement
Build and
maintain strong relationships with families and community
partners.
Represent the Centre in external
collaborations and strategic partnerships.
Develop and implement programmes that engage families and
the community.
6.
Professional Practice &
Development
Lead
professional development initiatives and workshops.
Promote service quality and continuous improvement among
teaching professionals.
Uplift staff
professionalism in alignment with ECDA guidelines and sector best
practices.
Job
Requirements
Preferably a Degree in Early Childhood
Education or related field
Diploma in Early Childhood -
Leadership (required)
Diploma in Early Childhood -
Teaching (required)
Minimum
4 years of relevant experience ,
including team leadership
Strong understanding
of ECDA regulations and early
childhood frameworks
Excellent communication,
leadership, and interpersonal skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable working in
a team-oriented environment
