Roles & Responsibilities
Reports to the Marine Manager and is responsible for delivering administrative support to the Marine Safety and Operations Department.
Job Description :
- Issue Notices to Mariners, Port Marine / Shipping Circulars, safety advisories, training materials, documents, and amendments to vessels.
- Monitor and confirm acknowledgement receipts for all distributed materials.
- Assist in reviewing and updating Controlled Documents with amendments.
- Maintain and compile records and statistics of casualties and incidents reported by vessels.
- Process and manage the department’s invoices.
- Oversee the upkeep of the department’s reference publication library.
- Provide support on other administrative matters.
- Perform any other ad-hoc duties assigned.
Requirements :
Diploma in Marine Engineering or a related field (maritime or engineering disciplines preferred).At least 2 years of relevant experience in the oil trading industry or in a comparable role.Meticulous, organized, and professional in execution of duties.Strong drafting skills with good verbal communication.Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.Tell employers what skills you have
