Job Description :
The role involves managing electrical engineering design, supervising site works, and ensuring successful execution of installation, testing, and commissioning activities. The candidate will also coordinate with ACMV, BMS, and other project teams to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and supervise electrical engineering design, shop drawings, and technical documentation.
- Oversee and coordinate site installation, cabling, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and statutory regulations.
- Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and other engineering teams to resolve site and technical issues.
- Review and approve material submissions, method statements, and equipment specifications.
- Monitor project progress, quality, and safety for electrical works.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and site staff.
- Prepare reports, as-built documentation, and handover deliverables.
Job Requirements :
Degree / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.At least 6–8 years of experience in electrical engineering within large-scale building or industrial projects.Strong knowledge of LV / MV electrical systems design, installation, and commissioning.Familiarity with BMS integration and coordination with other M&E systems.Sound understanding of Singapore codes, standards, and authority submission requirements.Proficient in electrical design software, AutoCAD, and MS Office.Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.Ability to work on-site at Tuas and manage multiple priorities.Willingness to work at Tuas area with transportation pickup at designated MRT stations.Tell employers what skills you have
